On the publication of tables in physics

The Physical Institute of the Moscow Scientific Institute is undertaking a large collective effort to compile, in the French language, physico-chemical tables, which are to serve as a supplement to the already existing tables of Landolt and Börnstein and to the tables published by the French Physical Society. In the present tables it is intended to include what was not included in the above-mentioned tables, or what could not be sufficiently systematized in them and what at the present time requires thorough revision. At several meetings in 1917 and in 1918, the general scope of the publication was clarified and collaborators were designated, among whom, from Moscow, will be: Lazarev, Andri (editors), then Bachinsky, Birshtein, Moser, Papalexi, Rakovsky, B. Titov, Tsentnershver, and others; among Petrograd scholars, Krylov, Ioffe, Krutkov, Bursian, and others have agreed to take part; Rozhdestvensky has expressed his agreement in principle. Scholars interested in the tables are asked to contact the director of the Physical Institute, Academician P. P. Lazarev, at the address: Moscow, Miusskaya Square, Physical Institute of the Scientific Institute.
