The third part examines the construction and calculation of spring motors and gear mechanisms, and methods of rectifying the torque of spring motors. The book is intended to serve as a manual for students of instrument-making higher educational institutions, as well as for workers in design bureaus and laboratories. It is of interest to experimental physicists concerned with self-recording instruments and precise time measurements.

The first part (7–136) considers general questions of the methodology of teaching physics; the second (137–167) gives a description of the equipment of a physics laboratory; in the third (168–496) a sequential analysis is carried out of the main sections at the first stage of the physics course (grades 6–7) and at the second stage of the physics course (grades 8–11).
