Correction

In my article (S. A. Telyakovskii, “Approximation of functions differentiable in the Weyl sense by Vallée-Poussin sums”), published in DAN, vol. 131, no. 2, 1960, the following corrections must be made.

In formula (13), the second term on the right must have the form

\[ O\left(\frac{1}{n}\sqrt{\frac{n-m}{n}\log\frac{n}{\,n-m\,}}\right). \]

In formula (14), in the denominator of the principal term, the factor \(p^{r-1}\) has been omitted.

In Sec. 3, concerning the function \(f(x)\), it should additionally be assumed that \(a_0=0\).
