Correction

In my article (V. P. Khavin, “On the space of bounded regular functions”), published in DAN, vol. 131, no. 1, 1960, the first three assertions—Corollaries 1, 2, 3 to Theorem 5 (p. 42)—should be replaced by the following formulation:

Let \(F\) have finite circumference. In order that \(B(G)\) be dense in \(A(G)\), it is necessary and sufficient that every portion of \(F\) have positive analytic capacity. When this condition is fulfilled, (2) is a norm on \(A(F)\), and \(\mathscr{H}(F)\) is closed in \(\mathscr{L}_1(F)\).

In Theorem 5, instead of \(\varphi \ne 0\) it should read \(\varphi(z) \ne 0,\ z \in F\).
